Come along with us to Clerkenwell Design Week

Updated: May 31, 2022

This year's festival inundated Clerkenwell‘s streets with new product launches, design showrooms, and immersive installations designed to inspire. The Ergomonkey team has successfully navigated EC1 and is now ready to share their insights with you!

Solus’ sensory flooring

Solus unveiled their new sensory flooring, which is made entirely from their Ketley Quarry tiles. This work includes all of the human senses and invites you to appreciate sound, touch, and sight! Solus demonstrated how, by thinking outside the box, design can discover new possibilities for a traditional product.

Chair Yoga at Flokk with Mariel Witmond-Bakemen

As part of their design week exhibit, Flokk Design created a wellness series. This included chair yoga with Mariel Witmond-Bakemen, which included a variety of movements to strengthen the hip flexors while only using one piece of equipment: a chair! Strength can be enhanced while stress and pain can be reduced by spending 10 minutes out of your day to stretch, according to studies. Follow Mariel's routine via the link below the next time you find yourself with a chair and some free time!

Join the race to make the world a better place!

Flokk not only emphasised internal well-being, but also the necessity of sustainability in the design industry. The Profim Revo, which is "endlessly configurable and infinitely recyclable," was a show-stopper at this year's design week! This new collection has 96 alternative configurations, all of which are intended to provide workplace adaptability. This one-stop creation responds to the issue of sustainability by using 100 percent recyclable materials. Here at Ergomonkey we predict that products of this kind will lead the future of interior design!

Bring on 2023!
